Ten Of Wands Oppressed & Overworked

Updated: Dec 17, 2022

Urban soul tarot ten of wands

The Ten of Wands shows a man bent over because of the weight of the wands he is carrying in such a cumbersome manner.

The Ten of Wands appear when you may feel that you are overwhelmed and are carrying a lot on your plate. There is so much to do, and you are by yourself. It is a reminder from the universe that you are almost at your destination. Do not lose heart. You have carried such a weight for so long and hard work always pays in the end. The rewards of a job well done are always sweet.

The man's back is bent, and he cannot see his path ahead. This card thus reminds you to assess if you know where you are heading or there is a chance that you could lose your way while carrying the burden that is placed on you?

We can see a family mansion near the horizon, which is where the man is headed. That is his goal, it is where his heart resides and that is his reason for carrying this heavy burden. The mansion houses his loved ones and seeing the man at work leaves no doubt that he is responsible for the abundance at that mansion. It is the way of life that one generation breaks its back to build up the next. The end of your struggle is almost there, so give thanks to the universe for sending you this sign that says Persevere on!! You are now running the last leg of the race.

The absence of any clouds on the card assures you that you will make it!! You are the Titan, who is holding up the universe for your loved ones. This card also shows up to remind you, that you are taking on too many obligations and commitments.

Do take a moment to chart your path, learn to say NO, and delegate what you can so that you can get some respite. Wishing you all the best, for the load is heavy, and so is your resolve and it's just a while before you hit home!

What are the wands that you are carrying? How far is the finishing line? What all can you delegate to someone else? When was the last time that you said NO?
